Everything Is Different For Everyone

Going to the camp the other day, really opened my eyes a little. Well, not really opened my eyes, but more like make me realise and accept whats going around me.

So its like this. All the school's from Petaling Utama district would be going together, so once we were all there we had to like get to no each other and stuff. First thing they ask, what school are you from? There's this guy, from this cluster school. He asked us what school were we from and when we answered SMK Lembah Subang, he replied "Ohh (where-the-hell-is-that-kampung-place-I-totaly-don't-give-a-damn)" kind of answer. I was like, okayyy.

Yeahh, and I noticed people socialising and stuff, everyone going up to each other and talking but people seemed to stay away from our group except for those really nices ones. Haha, we notice, we feel la. We're humans also wad. ;)

Most people don't know where my school is because of its such exclusive location I guess. Hahah. Some bothered to ask, I explained, and they still didn't know where is it. LOL. Some knew, those very rare ones, and I was like, so happy :) Hahaha.

Its not only that, the next day I wore Vivian's DJ shirt and what do you know? People came and talked to me. Wow right? I was like wth. Does it damn freaking matter which school do people come from? Since when did which school do people come from become a categorization tool? Mann you guys are like being racist, only now skin colour is not the issue. I seriously don't get it.

I know, all those hush whispers, those stares and those thoughts in your head. You guys look down on SMK Lembah Subang as if its some school in a third world country. Come on, its now the 21st Century and you guys still have such close minded minds. Yes, its happening. Rich with rich, middle class with middle class and so on. I knew the situation I was in would be bad, but I never expected it to be this bad and strike out so obviously.

But yet, I've gotten used to all the crap and just, put on a brave front. I'm changing, to adapt to changes and if all of you want to stay in your own selfless world, be my guest.

Well yeah, its not all because of you guys that you might have such an opinion of my school. Its my school's fault as well for not providing enough facilities for the students and also maybe my bad luck for studying there. The cocuricullar activities are totally not active, I mean, the last time I learnt something that had anything to do with Scouts was just in the beginning of the year and then everything stopped after that.

But no matter what, it doesn't give anybody damn the rights to look down. Who the hell are you to do so? Yes, I'm very annoyed by this matter. I don't care, if you feel offended, because hey, look who offended who in the first place?

I'm Kimmy Khoo,
from SMK LEMBAH SUBANG.
Don't know where's that? There's Google.
And I think you must be spending too much time cooped up in your dark little wormhole.
I'm PROUD.
Not exactly proud to be from there, but
PROUD that I'm still standing strong against all the NONSENSE
from you guys.

I'm starting to think moderization never did anyone any good, really.
